Matto’s journey begin in 2017. Sparked by a friend who handed him a small digital camera. On that day, photography became a passion and six months later it also became his job. Taking him from Lanzarote in the Canary Islands where he started taking portraits, to Douala, Cameroon. Where, he proudly collaborate as a photographer with the Thérèse Dipoumbi Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to providing brighter futures for children in Cameroon

In 2020, He co-founded Megazine, (@megazinelondon) a limited editions art Zine (printed publication) that celebrates up-and-coming London-based artists by giving them a platform for self-expression (ongoing project) . From 2021 until 2023 Matto served as the creative director of WappArt (now @w_creative_studios) an artists-run nonprofit organisation fostering interest in music and visual arts through collaborative creative spaces

Based in Shoreditch (London UK) Matto is a freelance Portrait and Fine-art photographer working on commission bases

Since 2025 he also started traveling around the world as a documentary photographer with @latiumani (human sides), reworded at Venice Film Festival 2026

Photography has always been a source of therapy and empowerment—both for himself and for others. Whether raising funds for charities, helping artists to become or capturing images that instill confidence in his subjects, Matto’s work is rooted in connection and purpose
